Form - Hybrid

Hybrid combines elements of two genre's to make as an example DocuDrama. A DocuDrama is a film based on real life events featuring brutal, heart-pounding segments that happened in real life. Also in order to make a DocuDrama the film will have to show a real life clip from the past to add a documentary genre to the film or else the film will just be a drama. An example of a film that made a DocuDrama would be a film called 127 Hours starring James Franco and it is based on a real life event from a extraordinary outdoors man called Aron Ralston. In the film 127 Hours they ended up showing a real life clip filmed by Aron Ralston when his arm was stuck under a boulder in Blue John Canyon in Utah. In my opinion I think it was a good idea to show a real life event like this as well as him cutting off his arm because it is really inspiring and it shows that he had a lot of confidence to cut off his own arm to save his own life.
